Let us talk about activities being held in English class with Miss Yumni Yasin. There are many interesting activities that she does for this class. For instance, we have a speaking corner in every lesson. The activity is Speaking Corner. The objective of this activity is to enhance students' proficiency in English. Having good command in English is of the utmost importance. Private sectors search for employees who can speak and write good English. All students must get involved in this activity. Miss Yumni chooses a few numbers in the name list to give a turn and title for the speaker. I have not been selected to do speaking corner yet. I feel nervous to know my turn to present my title for this activity. Some of the titles that my friends have done are about Volcano, Magnum, Monkey, Girl, Perfume and stomach ache. When my friends present their speaking corner, I like to hear and watch their presentation. I love this language activity as I can get a new story and the latest information that we never know before. For example, we can know the latest ice cream product in the market. In one lesson, four to five students present this activity. Before our class ends, Miss Yumni will select the students' names for the next speaking corner. I`m really nervous waiting for my turn to present. Wish me luck !!!!
